Why doesn't Dumbledore ever tell Harry he has the elder wand?
Asketh - Anonymous

He was worried about Harry becoming foolish and trying to snatch the Hallows at the wrong time. It was imperative that Harry not make that mistake - he had to acquire each Hallow at the perfect time. He couldn’t find the stone until he was about to die, and actually, I think the fact that Voldemort had the Elder Wand helped Harry.

What do think is Hermione and Ron's happiest moments, the moments they think about when they are casting their patronus?

They could be anything…Hmm. Depending on the time frame you’re referring to, the answer would be different…

In the present, I’m sure they would think about each other and their children. At other points in the book they could have been thinking about each other, their friendships with various people (such as Harry, Ginny, Luna, and Neville), the fact that they were destroying Voldemort, being appointed as prefects…Hermione could think about being a top student and Ron could think about how it felt to win a Quidditch match. Above everything though, I think they would think about each other and all the memories they share.

I don't understand the whole pRE pER or head boy/girl thing. Can you please explain it to me? X

***I meant to say pREfect or pERfect. Is there only one or the other or is there both?***

It’s prefect. Eight fifth years -one boy and one girl from each house- are chosen as prefects. They continue to be prefects for their sixth and seventh years. Prefects have a better chance at being Head Boy or Head Girl, but anyone can be chosen for that position (e.g. Remus Lupin was the Gryffindor prefect but James Potter, who was in the same grade, became the Head Boy).

There is one Head Boy and one Head Girl. They are seventh years and they outrank the prefects. They essentially lead the prefects and teach them how to fulfill their duties.

Did Remus Lupin have a brother?

I don’t believe so!

Isn't saying that Snape could have done more an opinion versus a fact?
I mean, he ultimately transfered to the good side, the side of Dumbledore, due to Voldemorts betrayal of Him, by killing Lily when he had a choice. He stayed on for the rest of his life and served Dumbledore as a spy, causing immense personal risk, and protecting Lilys son, Harry.

Technically it would have to be an opinion because only Jo can confirm things as facts. However, yes, I do believe that Snape could have done more to save Lily, although he did do a lot later in life.

Hey! I was wondering if you could answer a question about Daniel Radcliffe. I know this is Harry Potter, but I figured you might be a big enough fan to give me valid information. Since Daniel is now in New York doing How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, do you know how long the show runs for? I'm really interested in going, and for some strange reason I thought it was only playing until March 26, when it actually opens that day.... ah, I'm so confused. hahaha. Well if you can help me out it'd be much appreciated. =D

I’m sorry! I had to take a leave of absence from here but I actually have no idea about that.

What house was Astoria Greengrass in?
Asketh - Anonymous

I would say Slytherin, since she married Draco, but we don’t know for sure.

Do we know anything about how Viktor Krum's life turns out?

No we do not!

Do you think Voldy trusted Snape most of all because he was also a half blood? I know that's why Voldy chose to mark Harry as his equal, rather than Neville...
Asketh - suzypuzz

No, I don’t think so…I don’t think Voldemort really “trusts” anyone, but what have you. Snape was very skilled at Occumency, which prevented Voldemort from seeing his true motives; this led Voldemort to believe that Snape was a true Death Eater. Snape was intelligent, there is no denying that, and most Death Eaters weren’t. This gave him a leg up also. Snape was at Hogwarts when Voldemort fell, which meant that Snape never had to go to trial and attempt to deny being a Death Eater, which Voldemort would have considered treason. Basically, Snape never appeared to give Voldemort a reason to hate him. He also gave up the woman he loved for Voldemort (yes, he begged for Lily to be spared, but ultimately, he didn’t personally save her…he could have done more).

When was the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Trailer released? I remember tumblr going nuts somewhere in the beginning of March but i was more caught up with Ron's birthday so I forgot when it's coing out.

We haven’t gotten an actual trailer, but there was a few seconds of footage aired during the Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family this weekend. Before this, there were rumors going around a couple of different times where people were saying, “oh, the trailer is coming out on Monday!”, and stuff like that, but it was all fake.
